The following minutes to be read at our next meeting at Titletown Brewery on Wednesday January 18, 2012.

Minutes:

President Truman Koehn of the C&NW Veterans Green Bay Chapter read the minutes of the previous meeting held at the National Railroad Museum on Wednesday November 16, 2011.  10 members were in attendance.

Dick Piontek, Legislative Officer gave his report.

Dick Jobelius, President of the local NARVE Chapter gave his report.

Discussion included fact that Busch Malting in Manitowoc has been sold to a Canadian Company.  Car counts seem to be way down in both the Green Bay and Manitowoc train yards.  The C&NW Veterans Assoc. and the local NARVE chapter are each donating $50.00 to the National Railroad Museum along with a thank you note for allowing us to have our monthly meetings at the Museum.

Report on sick members - It has been reported that Don VanPay is not doing well.

Our next meeting (after January 18, 2012) will be on February 15, 2012 at the National Railroad Museum.

Lauren Bockin, Sec./Treas. C&NW Veterans Assoc.
