The following minutes to be read at our next meeting at
Titletown Brewery on A joint meeting of the Green Bay - C&NW Veterans and
the local NARVE Chapter was held at the National RR Museum on Wednesday December
16, 2009. Minutes: President Truman Koehn of the C&NW Veterans Chapter
read the minutes of the previous meeting held at the National RR Museum
on Wednesday November 18, 2009 5 members were in attendance. Dick Jobelius, President of the local NARVE Chapter gave his
report including information that NARVE presently has a total of 68 members. Dick Piontek, Legislative Officer was absent, no report. Discussion included the decrease in Railroad workers in Milwaukee,
Madison and the state of Michigan and possible Passenger train service from Chicago
to Milwaukee. Peter Peters passed away on Wednesday December 16,
2009. I sent a sympathy card to his wife Rita. I have reserved the Traditions room (south end) at Stadium
View on Friday September 17, 2010 for our annual dinner. I tried to get
Saturday September 18th, but no room was available for that day. Price
for the dinners remained the same as this year. Our next meeting (after the reading of these Minutes on
